The Browning Springs Middle School Bear Force dance team received special recognition at the recent Hopkins County Board of Education meeting for their outstanding season.
School officials say the team has had a remarkable season, beginning in December by taking home the West Kentucky Athletic Conference Pom and Hip Hop Championship.
Later in the season, at the Kentucky Dance Coaches Organization Regionals, the Bear Force dancers earned the title of Best of the Best for top middle school team and placed first in Pom, Hip Hop, and Game Day divisions.
Their success continued at the Kentucky Dance Coaches State competition, where Browning Springs won the State Championship in the Game Day category, finished second in Hip Hop, and took third place in Pom.
Congratulations to the Bear Force dance team from the WFMW staff on an exceptional season.
