Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville officials say that their transportation van has made a significant impact in just a little over four months, safely transporting 200 patients and covering 7,650 miles throughout the communities they serve.
Hospital officials expressed deep gratitude to everyone who makes the patient transportation service possible—from Ideal Markets and Rocket Oil Company, who partnered with the Foundation to purchase the van, to the Case Management team coordinating rides, and the dedicated driver who greets each patient with a friendly conversation and a smile. Thanks to their efforts, officials said patients at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville now face one less barrier to receiving care.
