Felicia Howard/Hopkins County Jail mugshot
A White Plains woman is accused of attempting to use counterfeit money at the Hopkins County Jail, leading to her arrest over the weekend.
Madsionville Police say officers were called to the jail around 2:10 p.m. Sunday after 39-year-old Felicia Howard tried to deceive the booking window deputy by paying another inmate’s bond using fifteen fake $100 bills, which were mixed in with other real cash.
Howard was taken into custody and charged with first-degree possession of a forged instrument. She was booked into the Hopkins County Jail.
