
An investigation into sex-related allegations involving a juvenile has led to the arrest of a Daviess County man.
According to state police, 40-year-old David A. Rodgers of Utica was taken into custody shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday after an investigation revealed he engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile through a position of special trust.
Rodgers was charged with third-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means, and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12.
Rodgers was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
State police detectives say the investigation is ongoing.
