Grace & Mercy Shares Stories of Hope and Recovery

A local organization focused on helping women overcome hardship is making a difference in the region through faith-based recovery programs and dedicated support services.

Founded in 2015 by Executive Director Joanna Mack, Grace & Mercy in Hopkinsville offers an 18-month residential, Christ-based recovery program that brings hope, support, and healing to women facing abuse, addiction, homelessness, or other crises, as shared by Mack during her presentation last week at the Princeton Rotary Club.

Located on Fort Campbell Boulevard, the store also features donated home furnishings and a popular fudge shop, and welcomes all types of donations—from clothing to furniture—which also help furnish the organization’s apartments for the women in the program.

According to Mack, the organization bought a home at 1507 South Main Street in Hopkinsville, which was paid off in March 2025. She noted that the organization is doing well thanks to careful stewardship and donations, and added that Grace & Mercy does not accept government funding because their program is based on the Bible.
