Hopkins County Schools closed on Wednesday, along with Dawson Springs Independent Schools and schools in neighboring counties, because of icy road conditions.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and Madisonville Police Department both reported numerous collisions throughout the city and county on Wednesday morning because of icy road conditions.
