Ginny Ball Named VP of Medical Group Operations at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville

Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville has named Ginny Ball as its new Vice President of Medical Group Operations, following Todd Duckworth.

According to hospital officials, Ball holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Western Kentucky University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at WKU. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Alliance of Orthopedic Executives, and the Medical Group Managers’ Association.

Ball began her career in healthcare as a physician recruiter and medical staff specialist at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, later serving as a practice manager and regional clinic director. Following her time in Owensboro, Ginny worked as practice administrator for Summit Medical Specialists/OBGYN and then as clinic director for Deaconess Clinic.

Most recently, Ball served as Chief Executive Officer at the Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Owensboro, where she managed a practice relocation and renovation, as well as an organization-wide transition to a new electronic medical records system.

Ball began her new role with Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville on Monday, November 17.
