Hopkins County Schools officials are recognizing the efforts of those who have come together to support students and families during the holiday season.
Officials expressed their gratitude on social media to the Family Resource Youth Services Centers for providing Christmas assistance to 659 students this year. They noted that the support is made possible both directly by the centers and through referrals to outside agencies. The district also extended its thanks to everyone who contributed to this meaningful project.
Last week, officials said members of the Hopkins County Young Professionals met at the Hopkins County Schools Central Office to wrap gifts for five students at Jesse Stuart Elementary School. They noted this is just one example of the many individuals and organizations who have stepped up to offer much-needed assistance during the holiday season.
