The City of Madisonville has announced details on office closures and adjustments to trash and recycling pickup in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday.
In observance of the holiday, all city offices and the Sanitation Department will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th. Regular business hours are set to resume on Monday, December 1st.
On Monday, November 24th, trash and recycling routes will operate as usual. On Tuesday, November 25th, crews will cover both the Tuesday and Wednesday routes, while on Wednesday, they will handle the Thursday and Friday routes.
The Transfer Station and Transportation Department at 900 McCoy Avenue will also be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.
