Hopkins County has been chosen by the Kentucky County Judge Executive Association to receive a $1,000 donation for a local non-profit, and eligible organizations are now being invited to participate for a chance to receive the funds.
Judge-Executive Jack Whitfield, Jr. shared on social media that instead of making the selection himself, he is inviting any Hopkins County 501c(3) non-profit to submit a business card at his office located at 56 North Main Street in Madisonville. Whitfield said he will randomly draw a card during the Fiscal Court meeting on December 16th, with the winner to receive the $1,000 donation. Whitfield added that the recipient must be a Hopkins County entity, have verified 501c(3) status, and provide a copy of their W-9.
