Leadership West Kentucky is accepting applications for its fourth class, set to begin in January. The program seeks 30 to 35 participants representing each of the 15 counties in the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance.
Applications are available at wkrca.org and will be accepted through December 5 from individuals who live or work in one of the participating counties. Applicants should have employer support and be willing to cover the tuition fee.
The program, coordinated by The Leadership Center through the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, aims to build a network of informed, connected citizens across community lines. Participants will take part in six sessions from January through June 2026, beginning with an overnight orientation in Paducah and concluding with a graduation in Hopkinsville. Each session will spotlight different regional topics, including transportation, education, economic development, agriculture, tourism, and quality of life.
TVA is the presenting sponsor, and additional sponsorships are being sought across the region.
Taylor Hayes, President/CEO of the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, said the local chamber is a key partner in the program and encouraged Leadership Christian County alumni to apply.
But it’s also open to 14 other county participants, including Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg.
