State Senator Robby Mills of Henderson is expanding his expertise in energy policy after recently graduating from the University of Idaho’s Legislative Energy Horizons Institute.
Senator Mills shared that he completed the two-week program, which addressed the various challenges in the energy sector and explored solutions for the future. He noted that his cohort included legislators from 39 states and provinces, among them his colleague Senator Scott Madon. Mills added that the final segment of the course took place in Washington, D.C.
Senator Mills said that he looks forward to continuing his work on developing effective energy policy in Kentucky and that the course has broadened his understanding of the entire energy sector.
Mills represents the 4th Senate District, including Henderson, Hopkins, Union, and Webster counties.
