A local lawmaker was recently honored for his dedication to improving healthcare in the state of Kentucky.
State Representative Wade Williams was honored as a 2025 Legislative Hero by the Kentucky Hospital Association.
Officials with Baptist Health Deaconess – Madisonville shared that the Kentucky Hospital Association recognizes state legislators who show exceptional support for hospitals and the patients they care for.
They noted that Representative Williams earned this honor due to his ongoing leadership in the Kentucky House of Representatives and his strong commitment to ensuring that all Kentuckians have access to quality healthcare. Officials said his advocacy played a key role in advancing legislation that protects patients and strengthens essential hospital services throughout the Commonwealth.
Williams represents the 4th District, which includes Hopkins County, in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
