Officials explained that the top winners from elementary, middle, and high schools will each receive $100 and have their posters showcased throughout the community.
In addition to the poster contest, officials said that there is also a public service announcement contest, inviting students to create a sixty-second video, Reel, or TikTok to help raise awareness for the organization.
According to officials, the overall winner will receive $500.
All entries from students in the Hopkins County Schools and Dawson Springs Independent Schools are eligible to participate. Entries must be submitted to the school’s resource officer or designee by Friday, November 7. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 19.
