Landon Foster/Hopkins County Jail mugshot
A Madisonville man is facing burglary and attempted robbery charges following his arrest over the weekend.
Madisonville Police say 36-year-old Landon Foster forced his way into a home on West Noel Avenue around 4:45 Sunday afternoon. Police say the resident, who did not know Foster, grabbed a firearm and warned him to leave. They say Foster tried to take the weapon, causing a minor injury to the woman’s hand and prompting her to fire a shot that struck a neighboring house.
Foster was taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree attempted robbery. He was booked into the Hopkins County Jail.
