Officials with the City of Madisonville are celebrating a remarkable achievement in workplace safety and excellence at its West Side Wastewater Treatment Plant.
City officials report the team has worked an impressive 648,380 hours without a lost time injury or illness, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and excellence.
Officials noted this is the 20th year in a row the West Side Wastewater Treatment Plant has earned this prestigious award.
In addition, officials shared that city employees Cami Hunter and Christy Brooks were recognized by Wastewater Treatment and Water Filter Superintendent Keith Watson at the latest safety meeting. Watson expressed his gratitude for their dedication, their recent support for both departments, and their assistance during his transition to supervising both plants.
