The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that KY 1033, also known as Vandetta Road, was closed this week at Otter Creek in Hanson as a contractor began a bridge replacement project.
According to state transportation officials, the Otter Creek Bridge will be closed for about two months as the contractor demolishes the nearly 60-year-old structure and completes the construction of a replacement bridge.
Officials indicate the project is scheduled to be completed by mid-November.
