Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley has welcomed two seasoned professionals to its leadership team.
Officials announced that Austin Elliott has been named Chief Advancement Officer, and Skylar Hagerman has taken on the role of Marketing and Communications Manager.
Officials said Elliott brings proven expertise in healthcare fundraising and donor development from his work with the Baptist Health Foundation. There, he expanded donor portfolios and helped fund key healthcare projects across Kentucky. In his new role, Austin will drive fundraising, build donor relationships, and spearhead strategic partnerships, all to boost the growth and sustainability of Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Ohio Valley.
They said Hagerman brings strong experience in communications, branding, and public relations, with previous roles at Baptist Health Foundation and the City of Madisonville. She has led impactful communications and major events for large crowds. As Marketing and Communications Manager, Skylar will direct communication strategies, public relations, grant writing, and digital outreach to boost the organization’s visibility and connect with key stakeholders.
In a written statement, Chief Executive Officer Theresa Floyd-Maas welcomed Elliott and Hagerman, noting that their combined experience and history of advancing philanthropic missions will be a great asset to the organization. She said both are eager to use their skills to support more families, easing financial burdens and bringing comfort during critical hospital stays.
