Hopkins Students Honored For CHA And Governor’s Programs

A number of high school students from Hopkins County were recently recognized by the Hopkins County Board of Education for participating in Commonwealth Honors Academy, the Governor’s Scholars Program, and Governors Schools for Art and Entrepreneurship.

The Hopkins County Board of Education recognized Jaden Heath of Madisonville North Hopkins HS for participating in the Commonwealth Honors Academy at Murray State University this past summer.

Hyewon Park, Bailey Stanley, and Madeline Stanley of Madisonville North Hopkins were honored on Monday at the Board of Education meeting. They were selected to participate in the Governor’s School for the Arts this past summer. Congratulations!!

Cadence Curry, Alex Garrott, Olivia Kirkland, Eli Pinkerton, and Madelyn Vargas of Madisonville North Hopkins and Emma Frazier of Hopkins County Central were chosen to participate in the 2025 Kentucky Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.

And students recognized for participating the Governors Scholars program were Aidan Arp, Matthew Brantley, Paige Brummer, Aiden Clark, Avery Crane, Kiley Demoss, Emma Duncan, Addison Howard, Caris Lewis, Jett Lutz, Aliyah Strahl, and Michael Strahl of Madisonville North Hopkins and James Payne of Hopkins County Central.
