Murray State University will host the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Tournament, presented by Credit Union 1, at Johnny Reagan Field from May 20-23, 2026.
This marks the first MVC championship event hosted by the Racers since joining the league in 2022, and the first time the program has hosted a baseball championship since 1991.
The announcement comes on the heels of a historic season for Racer baseball. The 2025 team won a school-record 44 games, claiming both the MVC regular season and tournament titles.
As the No. 1 seed, Murray State swept through the conference tournament, then went on to capture the Oxford Regional and Durham Super Regional championships. The Racers advanced to Omaha for the first time in program history, becoming the first MVC team to reach the Men’s College World Series since Missouri State in 2003.
The postseason run brought national exposure to Murray State, generating more than 44 billion media impressions and an estimated $406 million in advertising value. University and athletic department leaders say hosting the 2026 tournament will be another chance to showcase the program, the campus, and the community to visiting teams and fans.
More information about the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Tournament, including hotel accommodations and game day details, will be released by Murray State Athletics at a later date.
