The Hopkins County Board of Education honored local students for their recent agriculture state championship wins at last week’s meeting.
According to school officials, the students honored were Ag Sales State Champions Weston Baldwin, Hayden Crick, Jessica Lawless and Mattie Reynolds.
The Board also recognized three State Proficiency Winners: Agriculture Services – Andrew Densmore; Equine Science Placement – Westin Baldwin; and Diversified Crop Placement – Landon Herring.
These students have all advanced to compete at the National FFA Convention that will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 29 to November 1.
