The United Way of the Coalfield has announced the opening of the 2025 Community Investment Grant Cycle for nonprofit organizations that serve residents in Caldwell, Hopkins, or Muhlenberg counties.
Executive Director Ashley Alexander encourages nonprofit organizations to apply for these competitive grants, which are designed to support local programs that directly reflect United Way’s mission to uplift the most vulnerable by addressing overlooked needs and ensuring that no one is left behind.

She said they are proud to support those who are creating, meaningful, lasting change right here at home.
To give all potential applicants a chance to ask questions and learn about the application process, United Way will host open office hours across all three counties throughout August. Alexander notes that specific dates and locations will be announced soon on United Way’s website and social media.
