First United Bank in Madisonville has announced the appointment of J. Jason Hawkins to its Board of Directors.
Bank officials said that Hawkins brings more than 30 years of banking experience and has spent nearly 20 years in leadership roles at First United Bank. They credit his integrity, vision, and dedication to community banking for playing a pivotal part in the bank’s growth and direction as president and chief executive officer.
Hawkins has previously served as chief financial officer, investment officer, and trust officer. In addition to his roles at the bank, he serves on several local boards and is currently the treasurer of the Kentucky Bankers Association.
Bank officials said they are proud to have Hawkins’ leadership, experience, and heart guiding the future of First United Bank.
