
A traffic stop on Interstate 69 in Madisonville led to the arrest of a Henderson man for drug trafficking.
According to Madisonville Police, 27-year-old J’meer Rowe was pulled over shortly before 3:00 p.m. last Wednesday and found to be driving on a DUI-suspended license. Officers said a K-9 alerted during an open-air sniff of the vehicle, leading to the discovery of a backpack. Inside, officers said they found a large zippered bag containing several smaller baggies, two digital scales, a marijuana grinder, and a large bag of suspected synthetic marijuana weighing about 22.7 grams.
Rowe was taken into custody and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license – 3rd offense, trafficking in synthetic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
