
Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 69 in Webster County that claimed the lives of two people over the weekend.
According to Kentucky State Police, Post 2 in Madisonville was contacted by Webster County dispatch to investigate the fatal crash shortly before 5:00 a.m. on Saturday. They said a preliminary investigation revealed that 30-year-old Heather Greer of Henderson was traveling south on I-69 when, for unknown reasons, she crossed the median and entered the northbound lanes, colliding with a car driven by 31-year-old Gregory Lundy of Indianapolis, Indiana.
State Police reported that both Greer and Lundy were pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster County Coroner. They said a passenger from each vehicle, Malechi Baker and Ousmane Hamza, were flown to an Evansville hospital in Evansville to be treated for their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
