A child who went missing Tuesday morning in Hart County and the focus of an IAN Alert was found deceased, according to Kentucky State Police.
In a press release shared after 9:00 AM on Tuesday, KSP confirmed that 5-year-old Silas Chearer, of Cub Run, was found deceased.
An IAN alert rang out from cellphones after 8:30 AM, after Silas had wandered away from his home. KSP initially reported that he was autistic and was in possible danger.
The agency said they are unable to provide any additional information at this time.
