Brewco Saw Systems to Expand Muhlenberg County Facility

Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday that Curran Mill Machinery, operating as Brewco Saw Systems, will invest $1.2 million to expand its Muhlenberg County facility.

The project will add 20 new jobs, more than doubling the company’s Kentucky workforce to 37.

According to Gov. Beshear, the expansion will add 11,000 square feet to Brewco’s manufacturing facility, bringing it to a total of 38,000 square feet, and creating more than 20 new jobs.

click to download audioIn addition, the new space will allow for more equipment, like jib cranes, a larger boom crane, upgraded welding machines, air systems, benches, and about six new fabrication stations.

Brewco provides high-quality sawmill solutions for the lumber industry. Its equipment serves customers in markets ranging from wine barrels and railroad ties to pallets and residential-grade lumber.
