Two Dawson Springs women were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck in Caldwell County Friday.
Sheriff Don Weedman reports that the crash happened on U.S. 62/Dawson Road when 50-year-old Lori Korb was traveling westbound and tried to pass a line of traffic. He says she collided with the driver’s side of a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Kendra Sargent, who was stopped in traffic attempting to make a left turn from the westbound lane. The impact reportedly caused both vehicles to leave the road.
Deputies reported that Korb was transported to the hospital in Madisonville, and Sargent was transported by AmeriPro EMS to Caldwell Medical Center for minor injuries. They said four small children in Sargent’s vehicle were not injured.
Princeton Fire and Rescue assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
