A Madisonville man is facing multiple drug possession and drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on Whittington Drive Friday afternoon.
According to Madisonville Police, 54-year-old Ronald Cline was stopped for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and trafficking hydrocodone pills.
Based on the investigation, police said they executed a search warrant at Coien’s residence and found suspected meth on two plates on the countertop in the kitchen, with a razor blade and a cut plastic straw on one of the plates. Police said they also found suspected marijuana and Psilocybin, numerous glass pipes, assorted marijuana pipes, and a black digital scale in the main bedroom. In addition, officers said more meth and marijuana paraphernalia were found throughout the home.
Cline was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, prescription not in a proper container, possession of meth, a hallucinogen, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and trafficking opiates.
