
Former Owensboro Public Schools’ Superintendent Matthew Constant was sentenced in federal court Wednesday for numerous child sexual exploitation offenses.
According to court documents, Constant, of Owensboro, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison followed by a life term of supervised release for two counts of online enticement of a minor, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of transferring obscene material to a minor, and three counts of receipt of child pornography.
There is no parole in the federal system.
This case was investigated by the FBI Owensboro and the Kentucky State Police.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Leigh Ann Dycus, of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office, prosecuted the case.
