A local man was arrested on multiple charges after law enforcement responded to a domestic violence disturbance in White Plains Friday night.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to 4460 Greenville Road, where the victim stated that her boyfriend, 36-year-old Cody Hoyle of White Plains, had been drinking, became agitated, and physically assaulted her by striking her in the back of the head multiple times. She also claimed Hoyle put his hands around her neck, making her fear for her life. Deputies noted redness on her throat and neck, as well as scrapes on her knees from being dragged through the house.
