A Madisonville man who escaped from the Christian County Jail during a work detail last year was arrested on Monday.
Kentucky State Police say 52-year-old Kevin Johnson walked away from a work detail at the Convention Center in Hopkinsville on December 28th.
Madisonville Police say Johnson was apprehended Monday during a traffic stop on North Main Street at Pebble Creek Drive.
He was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested and taken to the Hopkins County Detention Center.
