Madisonville Man Charged with Threatening Delivery Driver with a Gun

A Madisonville man was arrested for allegedly brandishing a firearm at a delivery driver Monday night.

Shortly after 9:30 PM, Madisonville Police reported that officers responded to a call at Doe Run Apartments on North Kentucky Avenue about a man pointing a gun at a DoorDash driver. Following an interview with the driver and an investigation, police stated that 26-year-old Sedrick Stewart was taken into custody at his apartment where they found a 9 mm handgun on a shelf in the bedroom closet.

Stewart was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail on a charge of first-degree wanton endangerment.
