Officials with Hopkins County Schools have announced that two of their staff members have their artwork featured in an exhibit that opened Sunday at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts.
According to school officials, the Anne P. Baker Gallery presents “Risk” The Art of David Gilkey, Jade Niehaus, and Julie Oakley,” an eclectic exhibit that is on display through February 21. Both Gilkey, a guidance counselor, and Oakley, an art teacher, are staff members at Hopkins County Central High School.
The community is invited to attend an artists’ reception, rescheduled for Sunday afternoon, January 19, from 2:00 to 3:30. The event will take place at the Anne P. Baker Gallery, located within the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the Madisonville Community College campus.
